Hand-turned in ash, this lidded vessel is darkened at the surface to give the form a denser, more contained presence.

A closed form that changes the rhythm. It holds a certain distance, retains just enough for the eye to linger, then invites a gesture: to approach, to hold, to open.

The contrast between the deep black surface and the exposed wood leaves part of the material in reserve, without erasing it completely.
